Belinda Lee Gaultney

Belinda Lee (Cameron) Gaultney, 62, was born on June 1, 1963, in Washington, D.C., to Donald Wayne Cameron and Barbara (Graham) Cameron. She peacefully passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at her home in Muskogee. Belinda attended and graduated from Muskogee Public Schools. She deeply enjoyed all aspects of farm life, especially caring for her horses, reading, teaching others, and spending time with her family. Belinda often spent time visiting her children and grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. An avid animal lover, Belinda was especially known for her lifelong love of horses. Horses were a central part of her life from a young age, from riding in her youth to trail riding as an adult. She was a former member of the Muskogee Round-Up Club, where she met her husband, Doyle Gaultney. Together, they built a life centered around their shared love of horses. Belinda also enjoyed sharing her passion with the community by providing pony rides at events at the Castle of Muskogee. Belinda loved to read and was knowledgeable about many subjects. Her wisdom and insight will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She accomplished many achievements throughout her life. Belinda earned a bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s degree in literacy and school counseling. She proudly served as a teacher and school counselor with Muskogee Public Schools before her retirement. There was no one more reliable, humble, or selfless than Belinda. Her memory will live on through the lives of the students she taught, the teachers she mentored, those with whom she shared her horse knowledge, and her children, who will not go a day without missing her voice, wisdom, and love. Belinda is lovingly survived by her children, Jamie Widger of Tontitown, AR, Janay Dlabaj of Chattanooga, TN and Joshua Raney of Middlesex, NC; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild; sister, Kristie Davis of Edmond, OK; extended relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Ray Gaultney; parents, Don and Barbara Cameron; and niece, Morgan Cameron. Belinda's family is honoring her wishes and will schedule her celebration of life at a later date.
