Elwanda Bradley

Elwanda Bradley, 78, of Fort Gibson went home to Jesus on Friday, November 8, 2019. She was born January 6, 1941 in Pryor, OK to James Howard and Lois (Wilson) Willyard. Elwanda married her high school sweetheart, Johnny Bradley on July 27, 1959 and they were blessed with four children; daughters, Debi and Karen; sons, Brent and Johnny. Throughout her life she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her. In addition to being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she loved her church family and was always ready to help anyone in need. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with all her heart. She was very active in any and all roles at Cookson Baptist Church and would be one of the first ones to volunteer for any activities within the church. Elwanda is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Johnny Bradley; daughters, Debi (Rick) Taylor, Karen (Rick) Crall and son, Johnny; two loving sisters, Joyce (Jim) O’Dell and Sondie (Paul) Rainbolt; fourteen grandchildren, Wesley (Natasha) Benge, Greg (Kim) Benge, Wade (Melissa) Renfrow, Brittany Renfrow, Dakota Creason, Destinee Creason, Shawn (Amber) Crall, Staci Wickham, Heather (Jeremy) Aguilar, Patti (TJ) Cly, Tasha Corley, Teha Bradley, Tyler Bradley, Lane Bradley and sixteen great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Elwanda is preceded in death by her parents, James Howard and Lois Willyard; two sisters, Rosemary and Helen (Lucy); her special uncle and aunt, Cloe and Gina Willyard; son, Brent Bradley and granddaughter Alecia. A celebration of Elwanda’s life will be held Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 11AM at Cookson Baptist Church with Reverend Jim Brunk and Minister Doug Rainbolt officiating. Grandsons, Wesley Benge, Greg Benge, Wade Renfrow, Shawn Crall and Lane Bradley will serve as urn bearers. Honorary urn bearers will be Rick Crall and Rick Taylor.
