Julie (McDowell, Nodine) Robison

Julie Bonnie (McDowell, Nodine) Robison, 72, of Muskogee, Oklahoma, was born August 30, 1952, in Vinita, Oklahoma, to Forest and Angele (Pypops) McDowell and passed from this life on August 19, 2025, in Muskogee with her loving family by her side. Julie grew up in Muskogee and graduated from Muskogee High School in 1970. She moved to Tulsa, where she was a faithful wife, devoted mother, and proud grandmother dedicating her life to caring for her family as a homemaker. She was united in marriage to Billy Robison on October 13, 1997, in Muskogee, and together they shared many wonderful years. Julie was a member of the Church of the Living Water in Muskogee, where her faith in Christ was a source of strength throughout her life. She had many hobbies and interests. Julie loved to draw and work on crossword puzzles. She especially enjoyed taking care of her Doggie Daughter, Sadie Sue, cooking delicious meals, and was well known for making the best sandwiches. She loved going for drives through the community and neighborhoods, often reminiscing and reliving fond memories. Julie’s greatest joy came from time spent with her family, whom she loved dearly. Julie will be remembered for her kind heart, creative spirit, and the love she poured into her family. Her legacy of faith, family, and fond memories will live on through those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband, Billy Jack Robison of Muskogee; her sons, Jacob Nodine and wife Elizabeth of Sallisaw and Joshua Nodine of Muskogee; her stepchildren, Matthew Robison and wife Andrea of San Marcos, TX, Micah Robison of Tulsa, Martha Robison of Nowata, Meagan Akles of Poteau, and Amanda Robison of Nowata; her sister, Viola Martin of Gardner, KS; her brother, Forest McDowell, Jr. of Muskogee; her sister-in-law, Linda McDowell of Muskogee; as well as 5 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 2 great-granddaughters, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Forest and Angele (Pypops, McDowell, Jones) Robison; stepfathers, Paul Jones and W.C. “Bill” Robison; and her ex-husband, Randy Nodine. Julie’s life will be celebrated 11:30AM, Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home Chapel, Muskogee with Pastor Brenda Sokolis officiating and Jacob Nodine and his wife, Elizabeth, serving as urn bearers.
