Martha Louise Perry

Martha Louise Perry, 91, of Fort Gibson, was born November 15, 1931 to Edmond and Maude (Huitt) White and peacefully passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2023 in Muskogee with her loving family by her side. She enjoyed shopping, garage sales, reading, and cooking a good meal for her family. She also enjoyed photography and helping people when they were in need. In Martha’s younger years, she was known as “Coon” which brought a lot of laughter to many of her family and friends. Martha was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jr. Perry; granddaughter, Toni Guinn; four sisters and four brothers. She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Brenda Armstrong of Fort Gibson; son, Don Perry and wife, Joy of Fort Gibson; grandson, Terry Guinn and wife, Ann of Tahlequah; granddaughters, Donita Stewart of Vian and Darla Perry of Key Largo, FL; great-grandchildren, Morgan, Ashlyn, Gavin Guinn, Desiree Coppin, Amber Stewart, Codie Stewart, Kingston Perry; great-great-grandchildren, Kye, Shania, Demi Coppin, Oaklynn and Emberly Stewart; sister-in-law, Pat Trammel. Martha also claimed many children as her own, she loved each one of them dearly. Viewing will be from Noon-7PM, Monday, October 9, 2023 with family receiving friends from 5PM-7PM at Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home and Crematory in Muskogee. A celebration of Martha’s life will be 1PM, Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at Community Gospel Center in Fort Gibson with Brother David White officiating and her son, Don Perry reading the obituary. Committal prayers and interment will follow at Holland Cemetery in Woodall, OK with Terry Guinn, Gavin Guinn, Billy Ray White, and Mark Stills serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers are James Taylor and George (Jody) White. The family would like to thank Tobie Whitlock for being so good to check on her and get her anything she needed.
