Mary Etta Nobles, 87, of Broken Arrow, OK was born August 11, 1938, in Snyder, OK to Tommy Miles Weatherford and Anna Elizabeth (Harness) Weatherford and entered eternal rest Saturday, August 16, 2025, in Tulsa. Mary was a kindhearted and gentle soul whose life was defined by dedication, compassion, and love. For 25 years at Rutherford Publications and 15 years at Corporate Express, she worked as a meticulous and reliable proofreader, known for her sharp attention to detail and unwavering commitment until her retirement in 2004. Beyond her professional life, Mary found happiness in her beautiful gardens and treasured every moment spent with her beloved family, whom she loved above all else. She had a special tenderness for babies, delighting in caring for them with patience and affection. Mary was remarkably understanding, never speaking a harsh word about anyone, and always extending grace by giving people the benefit of the doubt. Gentle, nurturing, and endlessly devoted, she leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and love that will be forever cherished. She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Kasa Watson and husband David Pratte, and his children, Jami and JD Pratte; her sons, Kyle McCasling and Kevin McCasling; her grandson, Colin Watson; her granddaughters, Anna and husband Kole Smith, Amanda Kindall, Paris Taylor, and Ma’lia Sallis; her great-grandchildren, Kyrie and Bryson Smith; her sisters, Linda and husband Jerry Stanley, Ann and husband Bill Rook, Genny Knight, and Tommie Leathers; her nieces, Annette McClure, and Sheila Stirling; her great-nieces, Ashley Martin and Brittany Stirling; great-nephew, Brandon and his wife Riley Wohlgemuth, and their son John Miles; extended family and many friends. Mary is now reunited with her husband, Pat Nobles; her parents, Tommy Miles and Anna Elizabeth (Harness) Weatherford; her granddaughter, Jodi Sallis; her nephew, Marc Knight; her niece, Pam Martin; and her brother-in-law, Danny Leathers. Mary’s life will be celebrated 1:30PM, Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Gibson with her family officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow at Fort Gibson National Cemetery.
