Orvie Neal Pipkins, Jr.

Orvie “Neal” Pipkins, Jr. age 79, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away at home on Sunday, November 26, 2023. Neal was born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to the late Orvie Neal Pipkins, Sr. “Peck,” and Juanita Pipkins. Neal enjoyed sitting on the dock beside his wife fishing for crappie. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. Neal honorably served his country in the US Navy on the USS Ashtabula during Vietnam. He retired from Georgia Pacific after many years. Neal is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Pipkins; daughter, Kimberly Murphy; son-in-law, Tim Murphy; grandchildren, Autumn Chapman, Haley Norman, Lane Jiles, Luke Murphy, Tim Murphy, Jr., and Ryan Murphy; great grandchildren, Alex Chapman, Bayleigh Chapman, Brooklyn Chapman, Hadley Norman, Avery Norman, Carter Jiles and Kincaid Jiles; daughter, Robin Crabtree; son-in-law, Sam Crabtree; granddaughters, Tiffany Crawley and Sarah Crabtree; daughter, Nikol Aull; son-in-law, Matthew Aull; grandsons, Darby Aull and Wyatt Aull; great grandchildren, Penelope Aull, Alice Aull, Bentley Aull, Averie Aull, and Riley Aull; daughter, Audrey Stone; son-in-law, Jeremy Stone; grandchildren, Anna Stone, Sophie Stone, and Finley Stone; son, Orvie Neal Pipkins, III and his fiancé, Hillory Davis; grandchildren, Emily Pipkins, Jessica Pipkins, Aspen Pipkins, Xavier Davis, and Ava Davis; sister, Anita Skupien of Glenpool, Oklahoma; sister Sheran Sanders of Grove, Oklahoma; brother, Charles Pipkins of Marysville, Washington; brother, Wesley Pipkins of Oktaha, OK; sister, Paula Bartnesky of Caldwell, Texas; brother, Tim Pipkins of Houston, Texas, and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. A visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home in Muskogee with Neal’s family receiving friends 5PM-7PM. A celebration of Neal’s life will be 10:30AM Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Muskogee First Assembly of God with Dr. Steven Rose officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow at 12:30 in the Fort Gibson National Cemetery with military honors being observed. Sam Crabtree, Tim Murphy, Darby Aull, Wyatt Aull, Curtis Chapman and Trevor Jiles serving as casket bearers. Matt Aull, Finley Stone and Jeremy Stone serving as honorary casket bearers.
