Richard Lee Ralls

Richard Lee Ralls, Sr. of Warner, Oklahoma passed away from this life on Friday, May 24, 2024 in Muskogee. Richard was born in Warner on January 13th, 1939, attended Warner Public Schools, and graduated from Warner High School in 1957. That same year Richard joined the Army Reserves where he remained an active member until 1965. In 1961, Richard worked at Corning Glass until 1963. Richard married Margaret Dean (Kenedy) Ralls on June 30th, 1962. In 1963, Richard began working at Cross Telephone as a lineman. In 1981, he was promoted to Purchase Agent until his retirement in 2001. Richard served the Warner community as a member of the Volunteer Fire Department from 1977 until 1997. He was a 32nd Degree Mason at Porum Lodge #351 for many years. Richard enjoyed going to the stock car races at the Muskogee Fairgrounds and owned 4 classic cars. He enjoyed playing the guitar later in his life and attending bluegrass/country festivals. He never met a stranger, having many conversations with people he had never met. He enjoyed camping in several RV’s he owned over the years. Richard was a long-time member of Warner United Methodist Church. Richard is survived by his best friend and son, Richard L. Ralls, Jr. (Rick), of Warner, close family friend, Zelda Boyer, of Warner, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Virginia and Dennis Ary of Topeka, Kansas, several nieces, (and their husbands), 1 nephew (and his wife), 8 great nieces, 1 great nephew, (1) 2nd great nephew, and many, many friends. Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth and Jesse James Ralls, his wife of 50 years, Margaret Ralls, his sister Leta Beth Ralls, his half-brother, and half-sister, and 1 niece. Special friends and families include: the Collins Family, the Boyer Family, the Flynn, and Leisher Family. A celebration os Richard's life will be 11AM, Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Warner United Methodist Church with Reverend Jeremy Jones officiating. Rick Ralls, Bill Peterson, and Gary Camizzi will be serving as urn bearers. Committal prayers and inurnment will follow at Warner Memorial Cemetery in Warner, Oklahoma.
