Ronald "Ronnie" Lee Gray

Ronald “Ronnie” Lee Gray, 60, of Fort Gibson was born October 25, 1956 in Norman, OK to Bob and Barbara (Henderson) Gray and peacefully passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017 at his home with his loving family by his side. Ronnie grew up in Noble where he attended school. After graduation he started his career with Oklahoma Natural Gas where he worked as a Leakage Survey Technician. He retired in 2014 after 40 years of employment. Ronnie enjoyed watching the OSU Cowboys, fishing, and was an avid deer hunter. Several traditional deer mounts adorn the walls of his home for all to witness his love of hunting, but he was most passionate about spending time with and loving his family. Ronnie was a jack of many trades, as he loved working with wood and building things. He was preceded in death by his dad, Bob Gray. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kathy of the home; mother, Barbara Gray of Noble, OK; brother, Donnie Gray and wife Debi of Norman, OK; sons, Cory Gray and wife Lacie of Moore, OK, Michael Gray and wife Ann Marie of Oklahoma City, OK and Sean Gray of Moore, OK; daughters, Amy Ayers and husband Matt of Checotah, OK, Jodi Sampson of Fort Gibson, OK, Brandi Benton and husband Ben of Sapulpa, OK; grandchildren, Tyler Gray, Morgan and Garret Robertson, Iyleah Gray, Jason Gray, Keira Gray, Shelby Gray, Zach Ayers, Jude Gray, Austin and Emily Benton; extended family and many friends. Viewing will be held 9AM-7PM on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home in Fort Gibson with family receiving friends 5PM-7PM. A service celebrating Ronnie’s life will be 10:00AM Wednesday, October 18, 2017 in the Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rod Harris officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow at 3:00PM in the Dripping Springs Cemetery in Noble, OK with Michael Gray, Tyler Gray, Sean Gray, Donnie Gray, Garret Robertson and Matthew Ayers serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers are Cory Gray and Terry Scott. Reverend Leroy Walker will officiate.
