Teresa Kaye (Honeycutt) Murray, 58, of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, was born on May 30, 1967, in Muskogee to Paul Stevens and Annabelle Young. She passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, surrounded by her loving family. Teresa attended Fort Gibson Public Schools and pursued nursing classes at Connors State College. On July 31, 1993, she married the love of her life, Aubert Murray, in Muskogee. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love and partnership for over 32 years. With a heart for service and compassion for others, Teresa founded the nonprofit organization “Hand to Hand” with the support of her family. Through this ministry, she touched countless lives by assisting families in need. Her dedication to helping others left a lasting impact on her community. Above all else, Teresa cherished her family. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her loved ones, especially her grandchildren—her beloved “grand-loves.” Together they created precious memories during trips to Branson and visits to Incredible Pizza. Teresa’s legacy of love and kindness will forever be remembered by those who knew her. May her memory bring comfort and inspiration to all whose lives she touched. Teresa is now reunited with her parents, Paul Stevens and Annabelle Young; her father-in-law, Aubert Murray Sr.; and mother-in-law, Julie Murray. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Aubert Murray of the home; sons, Brandon Murray and wife Lindsey of Checotah, Caleb Murray of Muskogee, and Adler Murray of Fort Gibson; daughters, Brittany Murray of Wainwright, Lauren Murray of Muskogee, Aubrey Murray of Fort Gibson, and Araya Murray of Fort Gibson; grand loves, Dalton, Brinlee, Caiden, Annabella, Adelyn, Alton, Alakai, Amyliris, Ayven, and Anderson; extended family; and many friends. A celebration of Teresa’s life will be held 2PM, Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Gibson with Pastor Tim Allen officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow at Citizens Cemetery with Aubert Murray, Brandon Murray, Caleb Murray, Richard Sanders, Alton Murray, and Dalton Murray serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers are Alakai Murray and Michael Kizzia.
