1956 Honoring The Life Of Tommy Watts 2025 On April 09, 2025, Tommy Watts a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle passed away at Oklahoma Heart Hospital, Oklahoma City, OK at 9:57 p.m. Tommy Watts was born May 13, 1956, Warren, Arkansas, In 1974, he joined the US Armed Forces, and was assigned to the U.S. Navy Corps based in Mayport, Florida. In 1981, he attended Jackson State University. He served his community where he worked as a Supervisor for 20+ years at Community Action Agency both in Warren, Arkansas and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma until his health caused him to retire. He was also a Disabled Veteran. Tommy was born to his loving Mother, Ruby Washington-Green who preceded him in transition. Also preceding him in transition were: Brothers-George L. Green, Roosevelt Green Jr., Joe Green; Sisters- Martha M. Green-Smith, and Roxie Green-Davis. Tommy confessed a hope in Christ at an early age where he was baptized at Union Hill Baptist Church, Warren, Arkansas. He was a firm Believer, a Child of God, and he Loved The Lord! His favorite hobbies were listening to music, and sitting and watching the private planes take off and land on Saturday's. Tommy leaves fond and loving memories that will be cherished for a lifetime by his loving wife & friend, Shonta Shirane Anthony-Watts of Yukon, Oklahoma; who he was married to for 36 years. He was the father of 3 children, whom he dearly loved. His daughters: Teresa Ann Watts-Williams (Donald), Monroe, Louisiana; Krishelle Jane' Watts-Williams (Roy), Midlothian, Texas. His son: Kolby Tabious Watts, Yukon, Oklahoma. Four grandchildren: Kierra Watts, Tanisha Watts, Donald Williams Jr. of Monroe, Louisiana, and his Namesake: Kairo Thomas Williams, Midlothian, Texas. Six great-grandchildren: Kamoria, Harmony, McKenzie & Kehlani Clark. Amelia Pimpton & Aubrey Watkins of Monroe, Louisiana. Two sisters: Crivisteen Green, Warren, Arkansas; Rosa (Wardell) Wright of Wilmar, Arkansas. A host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. A celebration of Tommy’s life will be 1PM, Monday, April 14, 2025 at Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Gibson with his family officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow at Fort Gibson National Cemetery with full military honors being observed.
