Linda K. (Harris) Higgins

Linda Kaye (Harris) Higgins, 69, of Sapulpa, OK was born May 10, 1952, in Heidelberg, Germany to Archie MacDougal and Fern May (Chance) Harris and joined her Savior, Jesus Christ in Heaven on Monday, February 7, 2022, at her home with her loving family by her side. Linda grew up in Tulsa, OK. She married her best friend, Floyd Higgins on July 3, 1973, in Tulsa, OK. Linda worked as a dietitian for the Cancer Treatment Center for many years, but her career of choice was being a mom and a homemaker for her family. She enjoyed shopping, watching her favorite TV shows with her daughters, and going out to eat with family. Linda held a strong belief in Jesus Christ, and it showed in everything she did. Her legacy of love, compassion, and devotion will live on through her family. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Craig; her daughter, Priscilla; and a grandson, Gregory. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Floyd of the home; her children, Paula Dickson and husband Woody of Cleveland, OK; Clinton Higgins and wife Staci of Sapulpa, OK; and Lindsay Green and husband Kevin of Sapulpa, OK; grandchildren, Kelby Dickson and wife Chelsea of Cleveland, OK; Darren Higgins, Blake Higgins, Raeleigh Higgins, Bryleigh Higgins, and Maverick Higgins, all of Sapulpa, OK; great-grandchildren, Bentleigh Dickson, Baelee’ Kae Dickson, and Roman Dickson, all of Cleveland, OK; extended family and many friends. A celebration of Linda’s life will be held 10AM Friday, February 11, 2022, at Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Gibson, OK with Pastor Orlando Juarez officiating. Clint Higgins, Kevin Green, Kelby Dickson, Woody Dickson, Darren Higgins, and Blake Higgins will serve as casket bearers. Committal prayers and interment will follow at 11AM in the Fort Gibson National Cemetery.
