Nedra Kay Lewis

Nedra Kay Lewis, 82, a lifelong Muskogee resident, was born January 24, 1939 in Muskogee, OK to Charles and Etta Mae (Laird) Lewis and peacefully passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at her home with her family by her side. Ms. Lewis grew up in Muskogee where she received her formal education. She furthered her education and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. Nedra taught school at Muskogee High School for 30 years, retiring in 1995. Her summers were spent traveling and reading a good novel. Ms. Lewis was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Steven Leroy Lewis. She is survived by her brother, Charles Edward Lewis of Muskogee, and many friends. Nedra’s brother is honoring her wishes to be cremated and scattered on their parent’s grave. No services are scheduled at this time.
