Brandon Scott Jones

Brandon Scott Jones, 31, of Muskogee, was born June 25, 1988 in Muskogee, OK to Rockey Jones and Laura (Franklin) Washington and peacefully passed away Monday, June 1, 2020 in Muskogee with his loving family by his side. Brandon graduated from Muskogee High School in 2007. He attended Indian Capital Technology Center and became certified as a Mechanical Cad Technician in 2009. He then went on to attend Connors State College and earned his associate’s degree in 2011. Brandon loved to repair computers and had a passion for technology. He enjoyed being around his family and friends. When he was younger, Brandon received a Wish from the ‘Make a Wish Foundation’ for a trip to Disney World with his family. He was always willing to help people out and was a very loving and caring person. Brandon overcame many obstacles throughout his lifetime and received numerous miracles before receiving his ultimate healing. He was preceded in death by his father, Rockey Jones; grandmother, Della Jones; grandfather, Ralph Franklin; great-grandfather, Everett Cantrell; great-grandmother, Goldena Cantrell; and great-aunt, Donna Letterman. Brandon is survived by his mother and stepfather, Laura and Tim Washington; brothers, Tristan and Treavor Washington all of Muskogee; step brothers, Timmy and Kyle Washington of Tulsa; grandparents, George and Sue Ford of Fort Gibson; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Viewing for Brandon will be from 12PM-7PM Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home in Fort Gibson. A Celebration of his life will be held 11AM Friday, June 5, 2020 at Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Gibson with Minister John Trammell officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow at Citizens Cemetery, with Tim Washington, Tristan Washington, Treavor Washington, Raymond Taylor, Hunter Marsey and William Hallum serving as casket bearers.
