Brandon Michael Thompson

Brandon Michael Thompson was born January 13, 1997, in Oklahoma City to Michael and Debbie (Canterbury) Thompson, and passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at home at the age of 26. In 2015, he graduated from high school in Russellville, AR. Brandon proudly enlisted in the United States Marine Corp in 2014, and was discharged in 2016 as a Private. He enjoyed snow skiing and welding. Brandon was extremely talented playing the Saxophone, taught himself to play the piano and the guitar, and was a great singer. He adored his dog, Mary Ann. Brandon was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Luetta Hayes; great-grandparents, Keeth and Mary Merryfield, and Ed and Hazel Canterbury; grandparents, Cecil and Lillian Thompson; and grandfather, Ed Rowland. Those left to cherish Brandon’s memories are his son, Titus Michael Thompson; mother and stepfather, Debbie and Jason Inks of Fort Gibson; brothers, Igor Daiha Santana of Salvador, Brazil; Brian Thompson and wife, Mindi, and Jeff Thompson and wife, Kelli, all of Warner; father, Michael P. Thompson of Checotah; sister, Alyssa Schneider; grandmothers, (G’Ma) Julie Rowland of Muskogee and (NeeNee) Teresa Dickey of Petersburg, VA; grandfather, John Canterbury and wife, Linda, of Fort Smith, AR; uncles and aunts, David Rowland and wife, Christina; Keeth Rowland and wife, Amber, all of Muskogee; Robert Rowland and wife, Robyn of Tahlequah, OK; Jerry Thompson and wife, Carlye of Checotah; and Brian Inks of Petersburg, VA; nephew, Jared Thompson of Midwest City, OK; great uncles, Danny Hayes and wife, Suzy and David Hayes, both of Sand Springs, OK; close special cousins, Bailey Blake and husband, James of Ohio; Tori Davenport and husband, Rylan of Arkansas; Riley Hughart and husband, Austin; and Alex Rowland, all of Tahlequah, OK; Avery Rowland and Walker Rowland, both of Tahlequah, OK; Chase Faulkner of Tulsa, OK; Gage and Trace, both of Muskogee; and Kristian Waters of Texas; very special family in Indiana and Kentucky, many extended family, and numerous friends.
