Cheryl 'Robin' (Hughart) Ireland, 68, of Muskogee, was born on July 10, 1957, to Ishmael Benton Hughart and Opal Wileen (Cope) Hughart in Muskogee, and peacefully passed away on Monday, June 29, 2026, in Muskogee. Cheryl was affectionately known as Robin to all who knew and loved her. Robin earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah and faithfully dedicated her life to teaching. She taught at Muskogee Public Schools for many years, playing a pivotal role in her students’ lives. She met the love of her life, Donald Ireland, and the two were united in marriage on May 12, 1978. They spent 27 years, 7 months, and 1 day making a lifetime of beautiful memories together until his passing on December 13, 2005. She found great joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved to read, shop, plant and tend to her flowers, and looked forward to taking vacations with those she loved. Above all, her family was the greatest blessing in her life. She treasured every moment spent with her children and grandchildren, creating countless cherished memories that will be lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her sons, Jeff and wife Jeraka Ireland of Muskogee, OK, and Mark and wife Ashley Ireland of Muskogee, OK; six grandsons, Ransom Ireland, Landon Ireland, Axel Ireland, Parker Ireland, Baylor Ireland, and Maddox Ireland; sister, Sharon Lynn Davis; extended family and many friends. Robin is now reunited with her loving husband, Donald Alan Ireland; her sister, Donna Carol Cash; and her parents, Ishmael Benton Hughart and Opal Wileen (Cope) Hughart. Viewing will be held 12PM-7PM, Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home and Crematory in Muskogee. A celebration to honor Robin's life will be 10AM, Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Muskogee with Brother Weston Dearman officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery in Muskogee with Ransom Don Ireland, Landon Jeffery Ireland, Axel Benton Ireland, Parker Alan Ireland, Baylor Lane Ireland, and Maddox Jace Ireland serving as casket bearers.
