Doyle Kenneth Fullen

Doyle Kenneth Fullen, 69, of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma was born September 15, 1952 in Ada, Oklahoma to Clifford, Jr. and Imagene (Hoggatt) Fullen and peacefully passed away Friday, September 17, 2021 at his home. Doyle completed his education and went to work at OG&E. He retired after 30+ years to his ranch in Fort Gibson. After retirement, he worked as an electrical consultant for Southwest Electric and Explorer pipeline. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved to compete in rodeos and competed in bronc riding, bull riding and was a talented team roper. He was an emergency medical first responder and a volunteer firefighter for the town of Woodall, Cherokee County. Doyle was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Janet of the home; sons, Justin Fullen and wife Crystal of Fort Gibson, and Jason Fullen and Bea Mize of Braggs; his sister, Carol Wright and husband Gary of Porter; brother, Bob Fullen and wife Ellen of Theodosia, MO; grandsons, Tyler Fullen of Fort Gibson, Shawn Fullen of Keys, Brandon Jackson of Tahlequah and A.J. Lawson of Braggs; granddaughters, Maddison Cummings of Wagoner, Danilynn Fullen of Wagoner, Kynlee Fullen of Tahlequah and Justine Mize, Randi Thomas; mother in law, Bernice McCabe of Muskogee; sister in law, Debbie Allen of Hectorville; sister in law, Sharon McCabe and husband Russell Hobbs of Los Angeles; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. A visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Clifford D. Garrett Family Funeral Home in Fort Gibson with family receiving friends 5PM-7PM. Services celebrating Doyle’s life will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Crescent Valley Baptist Church in Woodall, Oklahoma, with Brother David Pride officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow at Holland Cemetery in Woodall, Oklahoma with Mike Brown, Johnny Terrell, Jr., Mike Corbell, Brady Gilliam, Tommy O’Laughlin, and Rick Ward serving as casket bearers.
