Euleta Mae (Crane) Andrews

Euleta Mae Andrews, was born on September 18, 1935, in Checotah, Oklahoma to Jimmie and Lillian Crane. She entered Heaven’s Gates on Friday, January 30, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 90. Born and raised in Checotah, Euleta graduated from Checotah High School with the Class of 1953. She began her working life at the age of 16 at Texaco Café in Checotah. On June 23, 1979, Euleta married Bill Andrews in Las Vegas, Nevada. Together, they shared over 41 joyful years of marriage before his passing in October of 2020. Euleta was also employed at Bower Feed and Lindsey Construction serving as each company’s bookkeeper. With this experience, Euleta and Bill later owned and operated EMA Construction for many years, and she eventually retired after working at Muskogee Federal Credit Union. Euleta had a deep love for reading, especially her Bible, which reflected her strong faith. Her devotion to the Lord was evident in all aspects of her life, and she was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Fort Gibson. Euleta found great happiness traveling with Bill on tours to many places like Mackinac Island. One of her most cherished experiences was visiting the Holy Land in Israel. A devoted grandmother, she treasured the many trips to visit her grandchildren in California and Panama. Known for her sweet spirit, whether through kindness or a shared dessert, Euleta brought warmth and generosity to everyone around her. She formed many long-lasting friendships over the years and was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Euleta left a legacy with her family and friends and will be greatly missed. She is now reunited with her parents, Jimmie and Lillian Crane; husband, Bill Andrews; and brother, Arthur Crane. Those left to cherish Euleta’s memories are her daughter, Valeta First and husband Bernard; grandchildren, Daniel First and wife Takako, Michael First, and Rachel First; great-grandchildren, Eli, Maika, Yuika, and Levi First; brothers, Gerald Crane and wife Tina and Charles Crane and wife Sandie; many nieces and nephews; stepdaughters, Tammy Shrum and husband Dwayne, Beth Brannon and husband Doug, and Becky Berkenbile and husband Mike; stepson, Billy Max Andrews, Jr. and wife Shelli; step-grandchildren, Kyle Shrum and wife Myka, Ashley Rouse and husband Eric, Andy Brannon and wife Kenna, Joshua Andrews, Melissa Peters, Joseph Andrews, Brooke Garza and husband Ricky, Cole Berkenbile and wife Carsynn; step-great-grandchildren, Maddux, Fischer, Madyson, Emma, Gray, Jaxon, Harper, North, and Tsula; extended family and many friends. A viewing will be held 12PM-7PM on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home in Fort Gibson. Euleta’s celebration of life is scheduled for 1PM, Friday, February 6, 2026, at Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Gibson with Pastor Don Blankenship officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Checotah, Oklahoma.
