Tom F Bebee

Thomas Floyd Bebee, 83, a lifelong Oktaha resident was born June 27, 1933 in Oktaha, OK to William and Ethel (Phillips) Bebee and received his eternal reward on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at his home in Oktaha with his loving family by his side. Tom attended Oktaha Schools where he met his future wife, Dauna Hayden. On March 7, 1952, Tom and Dauna exchanged vows in Fort Smith, AR. A marriage that stood the test of time of 64 years, nine months and thirteen days. For four years 1950-1952 he traveled to California every April to Swamp potatoes. Tom continued his education learning the profession of dairy farming. Not one to shy away from work, he and Dauna settled down in Oktaha to raise a family and work their cows. They also raised registered Brangus cattle for 30 years showing them all over the country. He won shows from houston to the American Royal. Tom was a member of the International Brangus Breeders Association, Oklahoma Dairy Association, American Quarter Horse Association, American Boar Goat Association, Oktaha School Board and Member of Chandler Road Church of Christ. Tom retired from raising Dairy cattle in 1997 after 45 years. Tom is preceded in death by his parents, sons, Todd Bebee and Bill Bebee; two brothers, Bud Bebee and Clyde Bebee; sisters, Mary Synar and Billie Ruth Ricketts; and brother in law, Steve Synar. Those left to cherish Tom’s memory are his wife, Dauna of the home; son, Thomas Bebee of Muskogee, OK; daughter, Tammy Ford and husband Richard of Oktaha, OK; grandsons, Thomas (T) Bebee of Muskogee, OK and Richard Ford of Oktaha, OK; granddaughters, Billie Ruth Williams and husband Jonathan of Scottsville, KY, Jessica Russell and husband James of Coweta, OK, and Ginny Bebee of Chapman, KS; great grandsons, Todd Williams of Scottsville, KY, Landon, Lance and Lane Bebee of Muskogee, OK; great granddaughters, Hadley Williams of Scottsville, KY, and Aubrielle Hawke of Muskogee, OK. A funeral service celebrating Tom’s life will be held 10:00AM, Thursday, December 22, 2016 in the Chandler Road Church of Christ with Ministers Harry Fitzgerald and Cameron Box officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow in the Greenhill Cemetery with Mike Perkins, Mike Daniels, Jonathan Williams, Thomas Bebee, Zane Box and Stan Cole serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers are Chuck Jordan, Boyd Johnson, Clifford Fitzgerald, Bob Fitzgerald, Tony Nichols, Robert Fultz, Jim Treadway, Howard Avery, Lynn Fidler, Shane Fidler and Tim Fidler.
